STATUS OF THE CAPITAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN - THE CITY OF TASHKENT AS A SEPARATE ADMINISTRATIVE-TERRITORIAL UNIT

Abstract

The article analyzes the status of the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Tashkent as a separate administrative-territorial unit, features of the administrative-territorial structure of the republic, regulatory legal acts aimed at regulating administrative-territorial units, as well as the experience of foreign countries. Proposals have been developed to improve the legislation governing the legal status of the city of Tashkent and the administrative-territorial structure of the republic.
