Abstract

The article investigates the relevance in the conditions of the modern educational paradigm of the topic, and substantiation the need for creating a holistic systemic concept of forming mathematical competence, and methodological training of the future primary school teacher based on the international assessment program TIMSS. Moreover, this research gives information about the description of levels of mathematical literacy in TIMSS studies, the experience of foreign countries on TIMSS, samples of assignments on TIMSS (in the field of mathematical literacy), and preparation of questions and assignments based on the TIMSS program And how to work these methodological training for future primary school teachers. The development of methodological readiness of future elementary school teachers based on the TIMSS international evaluation program and preparation of them for didactic activity is the issue of training the next generation of personnel who will carry out practical activities following the requirements of today's era.
