As a psycholinguistic basis in foreign language teaching methodology, the concept of “psycholinguistics” as a theory of speech activity is analyzed in primary school students in Uzbekistan. Especially at the age of 7-10 years, the emphasis is placed on the formation of sign systems, the formation of language rules, the importance of developing the child's speech activity based on the need for communication. The study focuses on the goals and objectives of early learning of foreign languages in the primary school in Uzbekistan.
