FOLK PROVERBS AND THEIR ROLE IN ERKIN VOKHIDOV'S POETRY

Abstract

This article discusses the use of folklore in the works of the honored poet of the Uzbek people E.Vakhidov. Particular attention is paid to the poet's skillful use of folk proverbs in poetry. Examples of E.Vakhidov's poems are given and the role of proverbs in enhancing the art of poetry is analyzed. The populist and philosophical essence of the poet's works is revealed.
