Abstract

The present article explores the existing international legal system for the prevention of trafficking in cultural property within the framework of international cultural law. The article analyses both existing international treaties in the field of prevention of trafficking in cultural property and soft law norms - recommendations and resolutions of international organizations. On the basis of the analysis, a number of measures have been put forward to improve Uzbekistan's legislation on culture.
