THE PLACE OF PHRASEOLOGICAL SYSTEM IN EUROPEAN LINGUISTICS AND EARLY PHRASEOLOGICAL STUDIES

Abstract

In this article the place of phraseology in the world linguistics and opinions about analysis of early phraseological studies are expressed. Contributions of European linguists to the development of the subject, different phraseological schools, early development of phraseological studies of Russian and German scientist and early linguistic analysis of identification of phraseologisms are looked through with examples.
Differentiating sayings and aphorisms from proverbs and marking their lexico- semantic borders take an important place in germanistic researches of German linguists. We tried to border their lexico- semantic features in this work.
