Abstract

The article explores professional competence in the aspect of linguodidactics. Such concepts as «competence» and «professional competence» are analyzed. The problems of improving professional competence in the process of teaching the Russian language, which has specific features and inextricably interacts with the professional activities of the future officer, are also highlighted.
